Recently, the Ministry of National Defense issued Circular 172/2018/TT-BQP amending and supplementing certain articles of Circular 102/2016/TT-BQP on the registration, management, and use of motor vehicles within the Ministry of National Defense.
Under this Circular, amendments and supplements have been made regarding the conditions for military vehicles when in circulation. To be specific:
- For vehicles in circulation, it is no longer mandatory to have a Vehicle Circulation Permit (the current regulation requires this);- For test-driving vehicles, there is a supplemental regulation on the form of test-driving vehicle signage: The "test-driving vehicle" sign must be made of a red Mica board with white letters, sized 297 mm x 210 mm, and hung in front and at the rear of the vehicle;- Additional conditions are stipulated for vehicles serving the Communist Party and State leaders, which must meet the following requirements: Registration plate; registration certificate as prescribed in Form No. 02 Appendix I issued with the Circular; other documents as stipulated by law.
