Amendments and supplements to certain forms regarding the energy information system in Vietnam from March 1, 2025

Circular 42/2024/TT-BCT has amended and supplemented several forms in the Appendix issued with Circular 34/2019/TT-BCT regulating the energy information system as follows:

- Amendments and supplements to Appendix I as follows:

+ Amended forms:

++  Form  1.2.  Design  capacity  and  availability  of  plants  in  the  power  system;

++  Change  the  title  of  Form  1.4  to:  "Failure  rate  of  plants  in  the  power  system";

++  Form  1.5.  Monthly  electricity  production  of  plants  in  the  power  system;

++  Form  1.13.  Data  on  fuel  consumption  for  coal-fired  power  plants  in  the  period.

+ Supplemented forms:

++  Form  1.6a.  Daily  load  patterns  by  season  of  the  system;

++  Form  1.7a.  Length  of  transmission  lines  by  province  and  central-affiliated city;

++  Form  1.7b.  Length  of  110kV  lines  by  province  and  central-affiliated city;

++  Form  1.8a.  Number  of  transmission  substations  by  province  and  central-affiliated city;

++  Form  1.8b.  Number  of  110kV  substations  by  each  province  and  central-affiliated city;

++  Form  1.8c.  Data  on  electricity  import-export  during  the  period;

++  Form  1.18.  Information  on  new  energy  power  plants.

- Amendments and supplements to Appendix II as follows:

+ Amended forms:

++ Form  2.1.  Summary  report  form  on  coal  industry  data;

++  Form  2.2.  Coal  extraction  and  loss  production;

++  Form  2.4.  Coal  consumption  by  type  and  usage  needs.

+ Supplemented forms:

++  Form  2.5.  Data  on  the  coal  import-export  situation  during  the  period;

++  Form  2.6.  Report  on  the  implementation  of  planning  for  coal  exploration  projects  and  mining  projects.

- Amendments to Appendix III as follows:

Amended Form 3.2. Oil and gas extraction and import-export.

- Amendments and supplements to Appendix IV as follows:

Replace Form 4 with Form 4.1 and Form 4.2

+ Form 4.1. Data on import, export, and stock of petroleum products by primary petroleum trading companies;

+ Form 4.2. Domestic consumption of petroleum products.

- Amendments and supplements to Appendix V as follows:

+ Amended forms:

++  Form  5.4.  Solar  power  plants  in  the  area  (excluding  rooftop  solar  power  projects);

++  Amended  Form  5.7.  Power  plants  using  solid  waste  in  the  area.

+ Supplemented forms:

++  Form  5.4a.  Data  on  rooftop  solar  power  projects  in  the  area;

++  Form  5.8.  Data  on  electric  vehicle  charging  stations  in  the  area.

- Supplement to Appendix VI as follows:

Form 6. Report on the implementation of planning for power source, grid, and other energy projects.

More details can be found in Circular 42/2024/TT-BCT which takes effect from March 1, 2025.
