Amendment of Multiple Provisions of the Citizen Identity Card

Recently, the Ministry of Public Security issued Circular 33/2018/TT-BCA amending certain provisions of Circular 61/2015/TT-BCA on the citizen identification card template.

- Replacing the phrase "DIRECTOR OF THE GENERAL DEPARTMENT OF RESIDENCE REGISTRATION AND NATIONAL POPULATION DATA" with "DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT OF SOCIAL ORDER" on the back of the citizen identity card template stipulated at Point b, Clause 2, Article 3;- Replacing the phrase "Department of Residence Registration and National Population Data, General Department of Police, Ministry of Public Security" with "Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Ministry of Public Security" in Article 4;- Replacing the phrase "General Department of Police" with "Department of Administrative Management of Social Order", and replacing "General Department of Logistics - Technology" with "Institute of Science and Technology, Ministry of Public Security" in Clause 1, Clause 2, Article 7.
