Recently, the Government of Vietnam issued Resolution No. 110/NQ-CP on key tasks and solutions to address difficulties and obstacles regarding mechanisms and policies related to investment construction.

According to the assessment of the Government of Vietnam, the number of construction investment procedures remains complex and inconsistent; therefore, the Government of Vietnam proposes solutions to continue perfecting the legal system and requires the relevant agencies to perform the following tasks:

- The Ministry of Construction is tasked with researching amendments to the Construction Law, the Housing Law, the Real Estate Business Law, and the Urban Planning Law towards simplifying administrative procedures and business investment conditions; while urgently drafting amendments to Decree 32/2015/ND-CP and Decree 37/2015/ND-CP;- The Ministry of Planning and Investment is tasked with taking the lead on amending the Investment Law, the Enterprise Law, the Bidding Law, and several decrees guiding these documents;- The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is tasked with amending the Land Law to unify the time frames for delayed project implementation leading to land recovery between the Land Law and the Investment Law.

Resolution 110/NQ-CP was promulgated on August 25, 2018.
