Recently, the Ministry of Transport (GTVT) issued Official Dispatch No. 4157/BGTVT-CYT regarding supplemental guidance on distancing measures to ensure COVID-19 prevention on transportation vehicles.

To enhance the service of people's travel demand during the holiday and still ensure to limit the risk of COVID-19 infection, the Ministry of Transport provides additional guidance for arranging and seating passengers to maintain social distancing on vehicles as follows:

- Implement strictly according to the instructions of the Ministry of Transport in Official Dispatch 4145/BGTVT-CYT dated April 29, 2020, of the Ministry of Transport regarding supplementary guidelines for measures ensuring COVID-19 prevention on transport vehicles;- Amend and supplement point b, section 2 of Official Dispatch 4145/BGTVT-CYT as follows: “Not applicable for groups of passengers who are members of the same family, friends’ groups, colleagues, individuals from the same agency or enterprise, traveling groups, or those with the same booking code on the flight. The effective time is from 8:00 PM April 29, 2020, until further notice.”
