Allocation Standards for Capacity Classification of Fuel Depots

Circular 34/2017/TT-BCT stipulates the order, procedures for supplementing, adjusting, and managing investment in the construction of petroleum storage facilities, LPG storage facilities, and LNG storage facilities.

Circular 34 classifying petroleum storage, LPG storage, and LNP storage facilities is as follows:

- Special Grade: Total storage capacity over 100,000m^3^;- Grade I: Total storage capacity from 5,000m^3^ to 100,000m^3^;- Grade II: Total storage capacity: petroleum storage: from 210m^3^ to 5,000m^3^; LPG and LNP storage: under 5,000m^3^;- Grade III: Total storage capacity of petroleum storage under 210m^3^;

The classification of the petroleum storage, LPG storage, and LNP storage facilities aims at managing investment projects and determining the authority (evaluation, inspection, management of project execution) of specialized agencies.
