Recently, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party issued Regulation 07-QDi/TW on disciplinary actions against violating Communist Party organizations. Notably, this Regulation includes provisions on aggravating circumstances to be considered when applying disciplinary actions.
Some aggravating circumstances include:
- Having been reminded, criticized, or warned by a superior Communist Party organization but failing to voluntarily correct deficiencies and violations;- Not voluntarily acknowledging deficiencies or violations or concealing violations;- Retaliating against, seeking revenge on those who struggle, denounce, or provide evidence of violations;- Providing false information or reports; destroying documents and evidence of violations; creating fake records and evidence;- Causing material damage without remedying the consequences;- Repeated, systematic violations; repeat offenses or having been disciplined multiple times but continuing to violate;- …
Additionally, this document also stipulates some mitigating circumstances for the Communist Party organization when handling disciplinary actions. More details can be found in the Regulation 07-QD/TW which took effect on August 28, 2018.
