Adjustment of the road network planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 in Vietnam

Approval for adjustments and supplements to certain contents in Decision 1454/QD-TTg, 2021 by the Prime Minister of Vietnam approving the Road Network Planning for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050.

Among these, adjustments and supplements pertain to the expressway system:

- Adjust the scale of 04 routes/segments: North-South Expressway East (CT.01) segment Phap Van - Phu Thu (Ha Nam), segment Ben Luc (Long An) - Trung Luong (Tien Giang), segment Can Tho - Ca Mau, and Noi Bai - Bac Ninh - Ha Long Expressway.

- Add new planning for 02 routes: Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway, Quang Ngai - Kon Tum Expressway.

- Adjust the scope of 04 routes/segments: Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway, Cam Lo - Lao Bao Expressway, Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway, Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway.

- Adjust the investment timeline for 07 routes/segments: North-South Expressway West segment Ngoc Hoi - Gia Nghia, Son La - Dien Bien Expressway, Bac Kan - Cao Bang Expressway, Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway, Quy Nhon - Pleiku - Le Thanh Expressway segment Quy Nhon - Pleiku, Go Dau - Xa Mat Expressway, Hong Ngu - Tra Vinh Expressway segment Dinh Ba Border Gate - Cao Lanh and An Huu - Tra Vinh segment.

Additionally, adjust the scope of 03 national highways: National Highway 13C, National Highway 57B, National Highway 57C (Details of adjustments to the national highways are in Annex II attached to Decision 12/QD-TTg).

Revise certain contents in Decision 1454/QD-TTg in Annex III attached to Decision 12/QD-TTg, 2025.

Decision 12/QD-TTg takes effect from the date of signing and issuance.
