Adjustment of medium-term public investment plan using the central budget in Vietnam for the 2021 - 2025 Period

On August 15, 2024, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam issued Decision 833/QD-TTg on the adjustment of the medium-term public investment plan using central budget capital for the 2021-2025 period of ministries, central agencies, and local authorities; allocation of surplus funds from increased revenue, reduction, and savings of the central budget in 2021 after implementing the policy of rental assistance for workers under the Program of economic recovery and social development.

The adjustment of the medium-term public investment plan using the central budget for the 2021 - 2025 period is specifically regulated in Article 1 of Decision 833/QD-TTg in 2024 as follows:

- Decrease of 3,096.187 billion VND in the medium-term public investment plan funds sourced from foreign capital of the central budget allocated to the Ministry of Science and Technology to correspondingly increase the medium-term public investment plan funds from the central budget for the 2021 - 2025 period for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam by 117.627 billion VND and for the following localities:

+ Yen Bai: 7.253 billion VND,

+ Bac Kan: 22.147 billion VND,

+ Phu Tho: 48.898 billion VND,

+ Hai Duong: 75.584 billion VND,

+ Nghe An: 589.298 billion VND,

+ Ha Tinh: 162.4 billion VND,

+ Quang Tri: 205.776 billion VND,

+ Ninh Thuan: 62.1 billion VND,

+ Ho Chi Minh City: 1,503.314 billion VND,

+ Hau Giang: 301.79 billion VND as per Appendix I.A, Appendix I.B attached.

- Decrease of 6,038.954 billion VND in the medium-term public investment plan funds of the central budget for the 2021 - 2025 period of the tasks and projects that have been assigned a medium-term public investment plan to correspondingly increase the medium-term public investment plan funds from the central budget for the 2021 - 2025 period for tasks and projects within the ministries, central agencies, and localities as per Appendix II.A, Appendix II.B attached.
