Circular 12/2017/TT-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular 01/2014/TT-NHNN regulating the delivery, preservation, and transportation of cash, precious assets, and valuable papers.

Supplement of Two Cases for Receiving and Delivering Cash in Sealed Bags, Boxes, or Containers as Follows:

- Receiving and delivering cash in denominations of 50,000 VND or less according to the transfer orders between central cash vaults, between central cash vaults and the State Bank of Vietnam Binh Dinh Branch and vice versa;- Receiving and delivering cash within the central cash vault; the State Bank of Vietnam Binh Dinh Branch.

Note: Do not apply the receiving and delivering of cash in bundles of 10 sealed packs or in sealed bags with lead seals for the two cases mentioned above.

In addition, Circular 12 also amends and supplements some regulations on the responsibility for managing cash, precious assets, valuable papers, and cash vaults; responsibility for managing and using cash vault keys and safes.
