Additional issues to be discussed and resolved by the Government of Vietnam

Accordingly, the issues discussed and resolved by the Government of Vietnam include:

- Pilot the implementation of new mechanisms and policies under the Government's decision-making authority as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 19 of Vietnam's Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents. (New content added)

- The Government's proposal on law/ordinance formulation to be submitted to the National Assembly and Standing Committee of the National Assembly; law projects, draft resolutions to be submitted to the National Assembly, ordinance projects and draft resolutions to be submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee; propose the formulation of a decree and a draft decree of the Government in accordance with the provisions of Vietnam's Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents.

- Strategy; zoning; long-term, medium-term and annual socio-economic development plans; medium-term and annual public investment plans; national 5-year financial plan, 3-year financial-budget plan; state budget estimates and annual central budget allocation plans; state budget finalization to report to competent authorities as prescribed.

- The socio-economic situation: monthly, quarterly, 06 months, whole year or important and unexpected issues and tasks and solutions to direct and administer the implementation of the socio-economic development plan festival.

- The organizational structure of the Government; the establishment and abolition of ministries and ministerial-level agencies; the establishment, merger, and dissolution of government-attached agencies; the establishment, dissolution, merger, division, and adjustment of administrative boundaries at all levels to report to competent authorities as prescribed.

- The annual work program of the government; a review of the direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister; and the implementation of Vietnam's Government's working regulations.

- Issues that are required by law to be discussed and resolved by the Government of Vietnam.

- Other important and necessary matters under the Prime Minister's decision.

Decree 39/2022/ND-CP takes effect from June 18, 2022 and replaces Decree 138/2016/ND-CP.
