Addition of bills, draft Resolutions of the National Assembly to the Program on Formulation of Laws and Ordinances 2024 in Vietnam

Supplement the following bills and draft resolutions of the National Assembly into the Program on Formulation of Laws and Ordinances 2024 in Vietnam:

- Present to the National Assembly of Vietnam for opinion and approval at the 8th session (October 2024) following the procedure at one session and the quick process in the projects, drafts:

+ Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Planning Law, Investment Law, Law on Investment in the form of public-private partnership, and the Bidding Law;

+ Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Securities Law, Accounting Law, Independent Audit Law, State Budget Law, Law on Management and Use of Public Property, Tax Management Law, and National Reserve Law;

+ Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the handling of exhibits and assets during the investigation, prosecution, trial of certain incidents, criminal cases;

+ Resolution of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government in Hai Phong city.

- Present to the National Assembly for opinion at the 8th session (October 2024) and approval at the 9th session (May 2025) the Public Investment bill (amended).

In cases where the bill is well prepared, discussions in the National Assembly show that the contents are clear and high consensus is achieved, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly considers cooperating with the Government of Vietnam to present to the National Assembly of Vietnam for approval at the 8th session (October 2024) following the procedure at one session.

Additionally, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly also assigns the presenting body, the presiding verification body, and the process for submission to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for opinions on the bills, draft resolutions of the National Assembly that are added to the Program on Formulation of Laws and Ordinances 2024.
