This is the new point of Circular 27/2017/TT-BGTVT amending and supplementing certain regulations on the quality of aviation services and non-refundable advance compensation in passenger air transportation.

Airports and airport passenger terminal service providers are responsible for adding designated smoking areas to the list of functional areas at passenger terminals as stipulated in Article 3 of Circular 36/2014/TT-BGTVT. Concurrently:

- Install security surveillance cameras at check-in areas, baggage screening areas, baggage carousel areas, and passenger security check areas at the airports;- Ensure the complete installation of common passenger check-in systems at airports starting from January 1, 2020, except for check-in areas allocated exclusively to a specific airline.

Refer to Circular 27/2017/TT-BGTVT for details, which took effect from October 1, 2017; amending and supplementing Circular 36/2014/TT-BGTVT and Circular 14/2015/TT-BGTVT.
