Adding 10 new ports in Vietnam's seaport system

On April 20, 2022, the Minister of Transport of Vietnam issued Decision 522/QD-BGTVT announcing the List of ports belonging to the Vietnamese seaport.

Accordingly, adding 10 new ports to the list of ports belonging to Vietnamese seaports, including:

- Nosco port (belonging to Quang Ninh seaport);

- VIMC Dinh Vu port (belonging to Hai Phong seaport);

- FGG specialized port (belonging to Hai Phong seaport);

- Long Son general port (belonging to Nghi Son seaport);

- Hai Ha Petroleum Port - Quang Tri (belonging to Quang Tri seaport);

- Cai Mep Gemadept Port - Terminal Link (belonging to Vung Tau seaport);

- Cai Mep General Port (belonging to Vung Tau seaport);

- Pacific Petro International Petroleum Port (belonging to Tien Giang seaport);

- Tan Cang Giao Long Port (belonging to Ben Tre seaport);

- Duyen Hai 2 Thermal Power Plant Port (belonging to Tra Vinh seaport).

Thus, from April 20, 2022, there are 296 ports in Vietnam's seaport system (previously 286 ports).

The detailed list of ports can be found in Decision 522/QD-BGTVT which takes effect from April 20, 2022 and replaces Decision 508/QD-BGTVT dated April 2, 2021.
