This is a notable content mentioned in Official Dispatch 297/TANDTC-HTQT regarding the letter of Vietnamese judicial requests for Hong Kong, China.

The Ministry of Justice and the Supreme People's Court have agreed that letters of Vietnamese judicial requests for Hong Kong need only be translated into English and not into Chinese.

Meanwhile, documents delivered to parties in Hong Kong may be translated into either English or Chinese.

Additionally, when translating procedural documents, note the following:

- In the address section of the party, write the full Vietnamese name of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as: “Khu hành chính đặc biệt Hồng Kông, Cộng hòa nhân dân Trung Hoa” or “Đặc khu Hồng Kông, Trung Quốc”.

- The name of the party to whom the procedural document is delivered must match the name of the party listed in the translated Judicial Entrustment Document.

For other notes, see Official Dispatch 297/TANDTC-HTQT issued on December 20, 2017.
