55 newly issued administrative procedures in Vietnam
On June 2, 2021, the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam issued Decision 701/QD-BKHĐT on announcing new and fully annulled administrative procedures in the field of investment in Vietnam under the management function of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

According to the Decision, 55 newly issued administrative procedures in Vietnam are as follows:
- Procedures for approving the investment policy of the Prime Minister of Vietnam;
- Procedures for adjusting investment projects in case investors transfer part or all of an investment project under the Prime Minister of Vietnam's authority to approve investment policies;
- Procedures for extending the operation term of investment projects falling under the Prime Minister of Vietnam's authority to approve investment policies;
- Procedures for approval of investors by the Provincial People's Committee;
- Procedures for stopping operation of investment projects under the authority to approve investment policies of the People's Committee of the province or the Department of Planning and Investment granting the investment registration certificate;
- Procedures for adjusting investment projects under the authority of the Management Board to approve investment policies;
- Procedures for establishing an operating office of a foreign investor in a BCC.
Decision 701/QD-BKHDT takes effect from June 2, 2021 and replaces Decision 1038/QD-BKHDT dated July 28, 2017.
