Recently, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 34/2020/TT-BTC regulating the collection rates, submission of fees, and charges in the construction sector.

From May 5, 2020, to December 31, 2020, pay fees at 50% of the fee rate stipulated in Clause 1, Article 4 of Circular 172/2016/TT-BTC. Specifically, according to the regulations stipulated in Circular 34, the fee rates for the first issuance of construction operation competency certificates for organizations and construction practice certificates for individuals from May 5, 2020, are as follows:

- Fee for the issuance of construction operation competency certificates for organizations: 500,000 (five hundred thousand) VND/certificate;- Fee for the issuance of construction practice certificates for individuals: 150,000 (one hundred fifty thousand) VND/certificate.

During the validity period of this Circular, do not pay the certificate issuance fee according to the rate stipulated in Article 4 of Circular 172/2016/TT-BTC. From January 1, 2021 onward, pay fees according to the rate stipulated in Article 4 of Circular 172/2016/TT-BTC.
