Price of SARS-CoV-2 testing service with health insurance

The price of SARS-CoV-2 testing services with health insurance according to Clause 1, Article 3 of Circular02/2022/TT-BYT is as follows:

- Rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 Ag single sample:

Service prices include direct costs and salary costs as specified in column 1, Section I of the Appendix issued together with Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT, plus the cost of SARS-CoV-2 testing products as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 2 of Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT. The maximum payment is not more than 78,000 VND/test.

- Testing for SARS-CoV-2 by a single or semi-automatic immunoassay machine:

Service prices include direct costs and salary costs as specified in column 1, Section II of the Appendix issued together with Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT, plus the cost of SARS-CoV-2 testing products as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 2 of Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT. The maximum payment is not more than 178,900 VND/test.

- Testing for SARS-CoV-2 by real-time RT-PCR technique:

+ In case of application form: service prices include direct costs and salary costs as specified in column 1, section III of the Appendix issued together with Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT, plus the cost of the biological test for SARS-CoV-2 for the reaction as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 2 of Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT. The maximum payment is not more than 501,800 VND/test.

+ In case of sample pooling:

Service prices include direct costs and salary costs as specified in column 1, section IV of the Appendix issued together with Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT, plus the cost of the biological test for SARS-CoV-2 for the reaction as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 2 of Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT; in there:

The test for the reaction is divided equally according to the pooled sample number. The maximum payment rate shall not exceed the price for testing the combined samples specified in column 2, Section IV of the Appendix issued together with Circular 02/2022/TT-BYT.
