3 Steps to Inspect Communist Party Members for Signs of Violations

On January 03, 2018, the Central Inspection Committee issued Decision 684-QD/UBKTTW promulgating the procedure for inspection and disciplinary enforcement of the Communist Party.

The inspection of Communist Party members when there are signs of violations is carried out according to the following process:

Step 1: Preparation

- Report, propose inspection plan, and tentative inspection team;- Submit to the Permanent Committee for review, issue Inspection Decision, and inspection plan;- Assign tasks; create inspection schedule, prepare documents, and materials for the inspection.

Step 2: Implementation

- Require the subject to prepare an explanatory report and provide documents;- The inspection team conducts verification and clarification;- Relevant Communist Party organizations hold a meeting to discuss and vote on the proposed disciplinary form;- The inspection team finalizes the inspection report.

Step 3: Conclusion

- The Central Inspection Committee considers and concludes;- Representatives of the Committee and the inspection team announce the inspection conclusion and the disciplinary action.
