18 consultation services for HIV/AIDS prevention and control at public healthcare facilities in Vietnam from January 08, 2025

Consultation services for HIV/AIDS prevention and control at public healthcare facilities in Vietnam include 12 pre-and post-HIV test consultation services and 06 consultation services for high-risk individuals, those exposed to HIV, individuals with HIV, and AIDS patients. To be specific:

* 12 Pre-and Post-HIV Test Consultation Services:

(1) Individual consultation at the health facility.

(2) Group consultation at the health facility.

(3) Individual consultation in a mobile format.

(4) Group consultation in a mobile format.

(5) Individual consultation in a remote format.

(6) Group consultation in a remote format.

(7) Individual consultation at the health facility.

(8) Group consultation at the health facility.

(9) Individual consultation in a mobile format.

(10) Group consultation in a mobile format.

(11) Individual consultation in a remote format.

(12) Group consultation in a remote format.

Among these services, the group from (1) to (6) is for pre-HIV test consultations, and the group from (7) to (12) is for post-HIV test consultations, including post-screening HIV test consultation and post-confirmatory HIV test consultation.

* 06 Consultation Services for High-Risk Individuals, Those Exposed to HIV, Individuals with HIV, and AIDS Patients:

(1) Individual consultation at the health facility.

(2) Group consultation at the health facility.

(3) Individual consultation in a mobile format.

(4) Group consultation in a mobile format.

(5) Individual consultation in a remote format.

(6) Group consultation in a remote format.

This group of services includes treatment adherence consultation; consultation for the prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission; disclosure of HIV status to adolescents; reproductive and sexual health care for adolescents; transitioning adolescents to adult treatment facilities; and medication use.
