The Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam has just issued Decision 11/2018/QD-TTg on the promulgation of the Classification Table of Consumption by Purpose for Vietnamese households.

Attached to Decision 11/2018/QD-TTg are the list (Appendix I) and the content (Appendix II) of the Consumer Classification Table by Purpose for Vietnamese households.

The classification table serves as a basis for use in State statistical activities to assess the living standards of the Vietnamese people. It stipulates 13 groups of goods consumed in households, including:
