The Ministry of Health has just issued Decision No. 2968/QD-BYT announcing the revision of 12 healthcare administrative procedures regarding social insurance and occupational safety and hygiene within the healthcare sector.
List of revised administrative procedures are specified as follows:
- Initial injury assessment due to a labor accident;- Initial assessment due to an occupational disease;- Assessment for pension implementation;- Assessment for the implementation of survivor policies;- Assessment to determine if a female worker is not healthy enough to care for her child after birth or after receiving a surrogate child or if she needs to take maternity leave;- Assessment for one-time Social Insurance benefit;- Re-assessment for cases of reoccurring injury due to a labor accident;- Re-assessment of recurrent occupational diseases;- Comprehensive assessment;- Final arbitration assessment due to exceeding professional capability;- Final arbitration assessment as requested by organizations or individuals;- Final arbitration assessment.
