11 amended administrative procedures related to registration and management of residence in Vietnam

The announcement of 11 amended administrative procedures related to registration and management of residence includes:

- Permanent residence registration;

- Removal of permanent residence registration;

- Household separation;

- Adjustment of residence information in the residence database;

- Temporary residence registration;

- Extension of temporary residence;

- Removal of temporary residence registration;

- Declaration of residence information for individuals not eligible for permanent or temporary residence registration;

- Notification of residence;

- Declaration of temporary absence;

- Confirmation of residence information.

In addition, Decision 320/QD-BCA in 2024 also announces the annulment of 2 administrative procedures related to entry and exit registration and management under the Ministry of Public Security, including:

- Annulment of the administrative procedure of issuing a document agreeing to process permanent residence registration in Vietnam for Vietnamese residing abroad, to be carried out at the central level.

- Annulment of the administrative procedure of issuing a document agreeing to process permanent residence registration in Vietnam for Vietnamese residing abroad, to be carried out at the provincial level.
