08 types of pesticides are allowed to be used in agriculture from 11/02/2022

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgates Circular 19/2021/TT-BNNPTNT on the list of pesticides permitted for use in Vietnam.

Accordingly, there are 08 types of pesticides allowed to be used in agriculture, specifically:

- Pesticides: 660 active ingredients with 1563 trade names;

(Currently 861 active ingredients with 1821 trade names)

- Pesticides: 617 active ingredients with 1377 trade names;

(Currently 587 active ingredients with 1282 trade names)

- Herbicides: 245 active ingredients with 698 trade names;

(Currently 241 active ingredients with 702 trade names)

- Rat poison: 9 active ingredients with 36 trade names;

(Currently 8 active ingredients with 26 trade names)

- Growth regulators: 53 active ingredients with 158 trade names;

(Currently 54 active ingredients with 157 trade names)

- Insect attractants: 8 active ingredients with 8 trade names; (same as current)

- Snail insecticide: 31 active ingredients with 152 trade names;

(Currently 31 active ingredients with 151 trade names)

- Supporting agent (spreading agent): 5 active ingredients with 6 trade names (same as current)
