The Ministry of Finance has just issued Circular 101/2017/TT-BTC providing guidance on Decree 06/2017/ND-CP on the business of horse racing, greyhound racing, and international football betting.

The supervisory board of the race has the right to request a temporary suspension of horse racing and dog racing operations of the enterprise in the following cases:

The organization and determination of race results are not accurate.- The organization of horse racing and dog racing betting does not follow the previously announced schedule and location.- Fraud in the organization of the race.- The server system and terminal equipment are continuously inoperative for 30 minutes during the ticket selling time as published in the Betting Rules.- Weather conditions or track surface do not ensure the safe conduct of horse racing and dog racing activities.- The system does not stop issuing betting tickets before the end of the betting acceptance period, violating point a, Clause 2, Article 15 of Decree 06/2017/ND-CP.

Circular 101/2017/TT-BTC takes effect from December 01, 2017.
