05 beneficiaries eligible for social assistance provided by social work services

On February 14, 2020, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs issued Circular 02/2020/TT-BLDTBXH providing guidelines for the management of beneficiaries receiving social work services from social assistance establishments.

According to the provisions of Circular 02, the subjects provided with social work services by social assistance facilities include:

- Social protection beneficiaries as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 25 of Decree 136/2013/ND-CP;- Victims of domestic violence; victims of sexual abuse; victims of trafficking; victims of forced labor; children, and itinerant beggars while awaiting return to their residence;- Juveniles without a stable place of residence subjected to educational measures at the commune, ward, commune-level town;- Those who do not qualify as social protection beneficiaries mentioned above but need social assistance, voluntarily contributing funds, or having relatives or sponsors contributing funds;- Other subjects under support programs, schemes, or as decided by the Chairman of the Provincial or City People's Committee directly under the central government.
