Recently, the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam has issued the Circular No. 02/2020/TT-TANDTC detailing the responsibilities of the People's Court in mediation and dialogue activities at Court.
According to Clause 3 Article 6 of the Circular No. 02/2020/TT-TANDTC of the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam, rules for arranging the Mediation and Dialogue Room at the Court are as follows:
- Outside the door of the room, there is a signboard "Mediation and Dialogue Room"; posting "Regulations on Mediation and Dialogue at Court" and the list of Mediators;
- Tables and chairs in the room are designed in the style of desks and office chairs, creating friendliness and closeness, arranged on the same plane, arrange the sitting positions of the parties to the mediation and dialogue showing equality and unity under the guidance of the Supreme People's Court;
- The equipment, the layout in the mediation and dialogue rooms at the Court, the size and color of the signboard must be consistent under the guidance of the Supreme People's Court;
- Do not install or use audio and video recording devices during mediation or dialogue. In case it is necessary to record a mediation or dialogue for other tasks such as reporting, communication or training in mediation or dialogue, the written consent of the parties to the mediation must be obtained.
