04 professional marks used in testing and calibration in the field of defense in Vietnam

On October 25, 2021, the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam promulgated Circular 138/2021/TT-BQP regulating markings operation, management and use of professional marks in inspection, calibration and testing activities in the field of military and national defense.

According to the Circular, regulations on professional marks used in inspection, calibration and testing activities include:

(1) Inspection Mark: Round mark, the seal face is created by 02 concentric circles, used to stamp on the Certificate of Inspection and Record of Instrumentation for tested Measurement-Test equipment qualified.

(2) Calibration Mark: Elliptical mark, used to stamp the Calibration Certificate and Instrument Profile for calibrated Test-Measurement equipment.

(3) Test Mark: An equilateral triangle with curves at the corners and an upward-facing vertex, used to enclose the test results statement.

(4) Lead Clamp Seal: Round seal, the seal face is made by 01 circle with 0.2 mm wide thread, used to seal Measure-Test equipment, test sample.

The professional mark granted to the Quality-Measurement facility is suitable for the recognized field of inspection, calibration and testing.

Circular 138/2021/TT-BQP of Vietnam takes effect from December 10, 2021 and replaces Circular 215/2011/TT-BQP.
