03 State secrets of secret level in the field of state audit in Vietnam

On April 22, 2022, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued Decision 504/QD-TTg stipulating the List of State secrets in the field of state audit.

According to the Decision, regulations on state secrets - secret level in Vietnam include:

- Contents of conclusions and recommendations for the handling of cases by the State Audit Office with signs of serious crimes detected through audit activities.

- Contents of conclusions and recommendations for the handling of cases by the State Audit Office with serious signs of corruption detected through audit activities.

- Written reports and exchanges of the State Audit Office with competent state agencies on cases with signs of serious crime and corruption detected through audit activities.

(Previously, in Vietnam's Decision 1663/QD-TTg stipulating 4 state secrets of secret level, including audit minutes of the audit team, minutes of inspection and comparison with agencies, organizations, and individuals related to audit activities, the minutes of data confirmation, and the audit situation of the auditors, have not been made public in Vietnam).

Decision 504/QD-TTg takes effect from April 22, 2022 and replaces Vietnam's Decision 1663/QD-TTg dated October 26, 2020.
