The National Assembly Standing Committee promulgates Ordinance 01/2022/UBTVQH15 on the order and procedures for the People's Court to consider and decide to send drug addicts from full 12 to under 18 years old to detention centers. tie.

Accordingly, stipulations that a person who must execute a decision on consignment to a compulsory detoxification establishment but has not yet been sent to a compulsory detoxification establishment may postpone the execution of the decision in the following 03 cases:

- Being seriously ill, certified by a medical examination and treatment facility at the district level or higher;

- The family is facing special difficulties, certified by the chairperson of the commune-level People's Committee where he/she resides;

- Eligible and registered to attend or are taking the high school graduation exam or must take the graduation exam in vocational education institutions certified by the educational institution where the person studied.

When there are grounds for requesting a postponement of execution of a decision on consignment to a compulsory detoxification establishment, the sentenced person, his/her parents or guardian or legal representative may submit a request for postponement enclosed with the decision. according to the evidencing documents to the Court that issued the decision for consideration and decision.
