On December 1, 2023, the Ministry of Health issued Decision 4384/QĐ-BYT announcing 02 amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the field of Health Finance within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Health specified in Decree 75/2023/NĐ-CP and announcing 02 annulled administrative procedures in the field of health insurance within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Health specified in the Decision 7291/QĐ-BYT dated December 7, 2018 announcing new administrative procedures in the field of health insurance under the management functions of the Ministry of Health in Decree 146/2018/ND-CP.

02 annulled administrative procedures in the field of health insurance in Vietnam

Decision 4384/QD-BYTT dated December 1, 2023 announcing 02 amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the field of health finance within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Health stipulated in Decree 75/2023/ND-CP and 02 abolished administrative procedures in the field of health insurance within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Health stipulated in Decision 7291/QD-BYT dated December 7, 2018 on the announcement of new administrative procedures issued in the field of health insurance within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Health in Decree 146/2018/ND-CP.

Specifically, 02 administrative procedures were abolished in the field of health insurance within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Health specified in Decision 7291/QD-BYT dated December 7, 2018 regarding the announcement of new administrative procedures issued in the field of health insurance within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Health in Decree 146/2018/ND-CP at the central, provincial, and district levels, including:

- Conclude the first health insurance medical examination and treatment contract (1.003048);

- Conclude a medical examination and treatment contract with health insurance for a medical examination and treatment facility approved by a competent authority, adding functions, tasks, scope of expertise, and hospital class in performing medical examination and treatment (1.003034)
