Commenting on the verification results, Chairman of the Legal Committee Hoang Thanh Tung stated that the Law Committee and agencies of the National Assembly highly agreed with the need to soon comprehensively amend the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment to promptly institutionalize the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 6th Central Conference (term XII) on strengthening the protection, care and improve people's health in the new situation. Speaking on this content, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed that the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment (amended) is very important, related to people's health care. Therefore, the drafting agency and the verifying agency need to invest a lot of effort to ensure the highest quality. 

At the meeting, 100% of the members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly voted in favor of and approved the Resolution to add the draft Law on Medical Examination and Treatment (amended) to the Program on building laws and ordinances in 2022.
