The Prime Minister has issued Official Dispatch 201/CD-TTg on the protection of Vietnamese citizens and legal entities and a number of issues to be noted before the situation in Ukraine.

Accordingly, the official cable stated that, from February 24, 2022, the armed conflict situation in Ukraine became complicated and quickly spread across the territory of Ukraine, directly threatening the safety of life and property. of people and businesses, including about 7,000 Vietnamese people residing in Ukraine , mainly Kharkiv, Odessa and the capital Kyiv and some other places...

Faced with the above situation, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

- Develop a plan to ensure security and safety; evacuate citizens and mission members when necessary and provide assistance with shelter, food, essential food and other necessary conditions.

- Directing Vietnamese representative missions in Ukraine and neighboring countries to make a list of Vietnamese citizens who are in war zones, continue to implement support measures, and quickly remove citizens from neighboring countries. in dangerous areas, take refuge in neighboring countries when necessary, and have a plan to send people in need to Vietnam at the request .

The Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and relevant ministries and branches review and make statistics on the number of Vietnamese people working, working or studying in Ukraine and informed notify the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deploy support, evacuate citizens from dangerous areas.

The Ministry of Public Security shall coordinate and create favorable conditions in the issuance of entry and exit documents for Vietnamese citizens, people of Vietnamese origin and family members.

Dispatch 201/CD-TTg was issued on February 26, 2022 and replaces Publication 200/CD-TTg dated February 26, 2022.
