Vietnamese airlines continue to implement the cost of rapid testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigens into the fares for passengers transported to Vietnam's international airports.

Foreign airlines can choose 1 of 2 options to calculate the cost of rapid testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen of passengers as follows:

Option 1, including the cost of rapid testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigens in the fare for passengers transported to Vietnam's international airports. The airline will pay the cost of rapid testing with the express organization unit at the international airport.

Option 2, the airline notifies the passenger so that the passenger knows and bears the cost of the rapid test, the passenger will pay directly to the unit that performs the rapid test at international airports.

The cost of rapid testing must not be higher than the unit price of the Ministry of Health announced in Circular 16/2021/TT-BYT dated November 8, 2021.
