The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Official Letter 961/BCT-TTTN governing the petroleum business. Accordingly, the price of gasoline continued to increase by nearly 27,000 VND/liter from 3pm on March 1, 2022.

Specifically, the Ministry of Industry and Trade adjusted the selling prices of popular petroleum products on the market as follows:
- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 26,077 VND/liter, an increase of 545 VND/liter compared to the previous one ;
- RON95-III gasoline: no higher than 26,834 VND/liter, an increase of 547 VND/liter compared to before;
- 0.05S diesel oil: not higher than 21,310 VND/liter, an increase of 509 VND/liter compared to the previous one;
- Kerosene: not higher than 19,978 VND/liter, up 478 VND/liter compared to the previous one;
- Fuel oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 18,468 VND/kg, an increase of 536 VND/liter compared to the previous one.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade decides to set up the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund:
- E5RON92 gasoline: 0 VND/liter;
- RON95 gasoline: 0 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil: 0 VND/liter;
- Kerosene: 0 VND/liter;
- Madut oil: 300 VND/kg.
In addition, expenditures for using the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund:
- E5RON92 gasoline: 250 VND/liter;
- RON95 gasoline: 220 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil: 300 VND/liter;
- Kerosene: 0 VND/liter;
- Oil of madut: 0 VND/kg.
Note: Adjustment of selling prices of petroleum products: Regulations by the main petrol and oil traders and petrol and oil distributors, but not earlier than 3pm on March 1, 2022 for petroleum products.
