Circular 32/2017/TT-BLDTBXH was issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam on the adjustment levels for monthly salaries and incomes subject to social insurance contribution in Vietnam. This is the first Circular to provide detailed regulations on this issue.
On December 29, 2017, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 32/2017/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the adjustment levels for monthly salaries and incomes that are subject to social insurance in Vietnam.
Employees in Vietnam who enter into labor contracts with multiple employers are only allowed to participate in social insurance and unemployment insurance at the first company where the worker signed the initial labor contract and are not permitted to simultaneously contribute to social insurance at multiple companies.
The procedures for registration and adjustment of compulsory social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident and disease insurance; issuance of social insurance books and health insurance cards in Vietnam will be effective from June 15, 2018 according to the guidelines in Decision 772/QD-BHXH (replacing the procedures B-BXH 250260-TT, B-BXH 250261-TT, B-BXH 250262-TT, B-BXH 250263-TT).
