On August 29, 2024, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam issued Directive 30/CT-TTg on the development of Vietnam's culture industries, including a requirement for policies for training young human resources in the fields of culture and arts in Vietnam

To be specific, for the Vietnam's culture industries to develop rapidly and sustainably, commensurate with their potential and advantages, and to bring significant economic added value, contributing importantly to promoting and advertising the beautiful and unique values of national culture and tradition, the Prime Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism proactively cooperates with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam to propose supplementary training plans for each stage to improve the quality of human resources for cultural industries.

This includes proposing policies to train young, talented human resources in the fields of culture and arts to form high-quality human resources for cultural industries; reporting to the competent authority in the second quarter of 2025.

Additionally, focus on implementing the following specific contents:

- Take the lead, in cooperation with ministries and central authorities, agencies, and localities to intensify continuous propaganda, raising awareness about the position and role of cultural industries in socio-economic development.

- Proactively coordinate to build investment and support plans for each stage for certain cultural industry fields that need priority development; including building plans and piloting implementation till 2030 in some fields where Vietnam has strengths, such as: Cinematics, performing arts, design, cultural tourism...

- Direct the intensification of implementing Directive 08/CT-TTg of 2024 by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam on comprehensive, rapid, and sustainable tourism development in the future.

- Take the lead, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and related ministries and agencies, to build a statistical indicator framework for cultural industries, reporting to the competent authority in the second quarter of 2025.
