Promulgation of Circular amending Circulars on quality accreditation for general education institutions in Vietnam

In Circular 22/2024/TT-BGDDT, the Ministry of Education and Training has amended and supplemented the Circulars regulating educational quality assessment and recognition of national standards for general education institutions, specifically:

- Circular 17/2018/TT-BGDDT regulates the quality assessment and recognition of national standards for primary schools.

- Circular 18/2018/TT-BGDDT regulates the quality assessment and recognition of national standards for secondary schools, high schools, and multi-level schools.

- Circular 19/2018/TT-BGDDT regulates the quality assessment and recognition of national standards for preschools.

Simultaneously, certain articles and forms from the Regulations accompanying Circular 17/2018/TT-BGDDT, Circular 18/2018/TT-BGDDT, and Circular 19/2018/TT-BGDDT are annulled or replaced:

- Annul Clause 5 of Article 12, Point a of Clause 2 of Article 13, Point a of Clause 2 of Article 18, Article 40 of the Regulation on educational quality assessment and recognition of national standards for primary schools issued with Circular 17/2018/TT-BGDDT.

- Annul Clauses 3, 4, and 5 of Article 11; Clause 5 of Article 12; Point a of Clause 2 of Article 13; Clause 4 of Article 17; Article 40 of the Regulation on educational quality assessment and recognition of national standards for secondary schools, high schools, and multi-level schools issued with Circular 18/2018/TT-BGDDT.

- Annul Point a of Clause 2 of Article 13, Clause 4 of Article 17, Point a of Clause 2 of Article 18, Article 40 of the Regulation on educational quality assessment and recognition of national standards for preschools issued with Circular 19/2018/TT-BGDDT.

- Replace the Certificate of Recognition for National Standard Schools form in Appendix II issued with Circular 17/2018/TT-BGDDT, Circular 18/2018/TT-BGDDT, and Circular 19/2018/TT-BGDDT with the Certificate form prescribed in the Appendix issued with Circular 22/2024/TT-BGDDT.
