Ministries, sectors, and localities continue to streamline and organize the apparatus, reduce the number of wage earners from the State budget, and restructure the staff of officials and public employees according to the job position, title, and leadership position as per Resolution 18-NQ/TW and Resolution 19-NQ/TW of the 6th Central Committee, 12th term, in connection with the wage policy reform requirements in Resolution 27-NQ/TW.

Additionally, the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam presides over and cooperates with the relevant ministries and agencies to research and submit to the competent authorities amendments and additions to the legal regulations concerning officials and public employees related to policies on salary increment and extension of the salary increment period for officials and public employees for appropriateness.
