Circular 33/2018/TT-BCA was issued by the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam on October 10, 2018, to list certain new changes on the citizen identification card.
On June 14, 2017, the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security signed Decision 2044/QD-BCA-V19 announcing administrative procedures not subject to receipt of applications or return of results via public postal services. To be specific:
November 18, 2014, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam issued Circular 60/2014/TT-BCA accompanied by 59 forms used in the activities of inspection, complaint resolution, denunciation resolution, and citizen reception of the People's Public Security.
Recently, the Government of Vietnam has issued Decree 73/2009/ND-CP providing guidance on the Ordinance on Commune Police, applicable to Commune-level Public Sercurity force and relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals related to the activities of Commune-level Public Sercurity force throughout the territory of Vietnam.
On September 03, 2020, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam issued Decision 1368/QD-TTg approving the investment policy for the project on Production, Issuance, and Management of Citizen Identity Cards. Based on this, the Ministry of Public Security is drafting a Circular regulating the new Citizen Identity Card model for the people in Vietnam.
