At the recently concluded session of the National Assembly, the National Assembly entrusted the Government of Vietnam with the task of adjusting the statutory pay rate from VND 1.39 million/month to VND 1.49 million/month from July 1, 2019. Therefore, the salaries of the public security and military will change in 2019, with the specific salary levels presented in the following salary table.
From July 1, 2018, the statutory pay rate increases to 1,390,000 VND/month. As a result, the salary for individuals receiving wages or rank allowances from the state budget in agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam is also adjusted accordingly. Lawnet respectfully introduces to esteemed members the Salary Tables, Salary Increases, and Military Allowances effective from July 1, 2018, as follows:
In 2018, there were 5,475 admission quotas for training in university and college military systems at academies and schools within the Army of Vietnam.
According to Decree 38/2019/ND-CP, the statutory pay rate will be officially adjusted to increase to 1.49 million VND/month starting from July 1, 2019. The salary table for the military and public security forces in Vietnam will also be correspondingly increased. Lawnet would like to summarize the salary levels for the military and public security forces from July 1, 2019 in the table below.
According to Resolution 86/2019/QH14, effective from July 1, 2020, the statutory pay rate will be adjusted from 1.49 million VND per month to 1.6 million VND per month, an increase of 110,000 VND per month (the highest increase to date). The salary scales of the military and police will also be adjusted accordingly. The payrolls of the military and police effective from July 1, 2020 are in the table below.
Recently, the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam issued Circular 117/2009/TT-BQP on regulations for intermediate professional levels in military sectors.
