Specifically, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor decided:

- Stop implementing Decision 3749/QD-TLD dated December 15, 2021 on support for union members and employees affected by the COVID-19 epidemic from March 1, 2022.

The receipt of dossiers of settlement of support payments for subjects infected with COVID-19 before March 1, 2022 according to Decision 3749/QD-TLD shall be carried out until March 31, 2022 at the latest .

- From March 1, 2022, support payments for union members and employees affected by the COVID-19 epidemic (including F0 deaths) will be made according to regulations on support and visitation expenses. , subsidies in Decision 4290/QD-TLD dated March 1st, 2022 on promulgating regulations on revenue, expenditure, financial management, and assets of grassroots trade unions, Decision 4291/QD-TLD dated January 1st/ March 2022 on promulgating regulations on standards and norms of spending regimes in trade unions.

In addition, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requests the Standing Committee of the Confederation of Labor of the provinces and cities, the central branch trade union and the equivalent, the Corporation's Trade Union under the General Confederation of Labor. Vietnam shall base on this Decision to implement; studying, amending, supplementing, and perfecting internal spending regulations or regulations at their own level and guiding affiliated trade unions to implement and comply with regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. ;

In addition, strengthening information and communication work so that trade unions and union members and employees clearly understand guidelines and policies and agree on the implementation of policies to support union members and employees of the organization. trade union.

Previously, the level of support for union members and employees under Decision 3749/QD-TLD was specified as follows:

- Union members and employees who are F0 cases and do not violate the provisions of the law on COVID-19 prevention and control are supported:

+ A maximum of 3,000,000 VND/person if there are severe symptoms of illness, must be treated for 21 days or more at a hospital, medical facility is allowed to collect COVID-19 treatment according to the certification documents of the agency. authorized healthcare.

+ A maximum of 1,500,000 VND/person if they have to undergo outpatient treatment for 21 days or more or inpatient treatment for less than 21 days at a hospital or medical facility that is entitled to receive treatment for COVID-19 according to identification documents. approved by the competent health authority.

- Union members and employees at agencies, units and enterprises that pay union dues die due to infection with Sars-CoV-2 virus, their relatives will be supported at VND 5,000,000/person. .

- Other cases affected by the COVID-19 epidemic need support to assign the Standing Committee of the Provincial and Municipal Labor Confederation, the Central Sector Trade Union and the equivalent, the Corporation's Trade Union under the General Confederation, The grassroots immediate superior trade union actively considers and decides according to the provisions on financial decentralization of the General Confederation in accordance with the actual situation, the requirements of epidemic prevention and control and the approved financial sources of the trade union. approved during the year.
