This is an important new content mentioned in the Draft Revised Labor Code which is still in the period of collecting feedback.

The employer is responsible for fully implementing the following basic contents to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace:
- Organizing information, dissemination, education, and training on occupational safety and hygiene.
- Implementing labor protection policies and healthcare for employees.
- Developing and implementing rules, procedures, and measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene.
- Managing machinery, equipment, materials, and substances with strict safety and hygiene requirements.
- Reporting, investigating, recording, and reporting occupational accidents and technical incidents causing safety and hygiene concerns.
- Assigning personnel responsible for occupational safety and hygiene tasks with adequate capability as prescribed by law.
In addition, employees are also responsible for complying with regulations, rules, procedures, and requirements regarding occupational safety and hygiene; adhering to the law and mastering knowledge and skills on measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace.
