Accordingly, the policy of reducing in insurance premiums to the fund for occupational accidents and diseases (insurance against occupational accidents and diseases) by 0% of the salary fund as the basis for paying social insurance premiums according to Decision 23/2021/QD-TTg implemented for 12 months, from July 1, 2021 to the end of June 30, 2022, Vietnam
Therefore, from July 1, 2022, the employer shall pay the occupational accident and disease insurance fund at the rate of 0.5% of the salary fund as the basis for paying social insurance premiums according to Decree 58/2020/ND-CP dated July 1, 2022. May 25, 2020 stipulates the rate of payment of compulsory social insurance to the Fund of Occupational Accidents and Diseases of Vietnam
Note: Enterprises may pay 0.3% of salary fund as a basis for payment of social insurance if they operate in occupations with high risk of occupational accidents and diseases, if they meet the conditions specified in Decree 58/2020/ ND-CP and has a written request and is approved by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam.
