According to the official notice from the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, during the upcoming September 2 holiday, employees will have continuous days off ranging from 2 to 3 days. To be specific, as follows:
- For officials, public employees, and employees working under policies with 2 days off per week: As National Day coincides with Sunday, which is a weekly day off, they will have a compensatory day off on Monday (September 3, 2018). The total holiday period for this occasion is 3 days, from Saturday (September 1, 2018) to the end of Monday (September 3, 2018).- For employees working under policies with 1 day off per week: The total holiday period is 2 days, from Sunday (September 2, 2018) to the end of Monday (September 3, 2018).
For agencies and enterprises that do not arrange weekly days off on Saturdays and Sundays, the scheduling of holidays will be based on the specific programs and plans of the unit to arrange a suitable holiday schedule.
