This continues to be one of the notable contents mentioned in the Draft Amendments to the Labor Code.

To be specific, according to this Draft, from January 1, 2021, it is strictly prohibited to employ minors in the following places:
- Underwater, underground, in caves, in tunnels;
- Construction sites;
- Livestock slaughterhouses;
- Casinos, bars, discos, karaoke rooms, hotels, inns, saunas, massage parlors; lottery business points, electronic gaming services. (This is a newly added provision in the Draft).
- Other workplaces that harm the physical, intellectual, and moral development of minors.
Thus, if this provision in the Draft is approved, from January 1, 2021, in addition to the currently prohibited workplaces for employing minors, lottery business points or electronic gaming services will also not be permitted to employ minors.
Additionally, the Draft also provides that from January 1, 2021, it is prohibited to employ minors in the following jobs:
- Carrying, lifting, and moving heavy objects that exceed the physical capacity of minors.
- The production and sale of alcohol, beer, tobacco, psychoactive substances, or other narcotic substances. (This is a newly added provision in the Draft).
- Production, use, or transport of chemicals, gas, and explosives.
- Maintenance of equipment and machinery.
- Demolition of construction structures.
- Melting, blowing, casting, rolling, stamping, and welding metal.
- Diving, offshore fishing.
- Other work that harms the physical, intellectual, and moral development of minors.
