Vietnam: To require employees to install Bluezone application and regularly turn on Bluetooth (Artwork).

Implement the directive of the Prime Minister of Vietnam to continue carrying out the dual goals of fighting the epidemic: developing the economy and continuing production and business activities. We must strictly control the assurance of safety at production and business establishments. The Ministry of Health of Vietnam (the standing agency of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control) requests the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities to implement the following:

- Strengthen inspection and urge labor facilities in the area under their management to strictly implement Vietnam's Decision 2194/QD-BCDQG dated May 27, 2020 of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on the promulgation of "Guidelines on prevention, control, and assessment of the risk of COVID-19 infection at workplaces and dormitories for employees"; especially directing the self-assessment of the risk of COVID-19 infection at production and business establishments in Vietnam.

- Request employers at production and business establishments to regularly check and remind employees to strictly comply with the "5K" requirement in epidemic prevention and control. (wearing a mask, disinfecting, not gathering in crowds, keeping a distance when in contact, making medical declarations).

- Require employees to install Bluzone tracing app; regularly turn on Bluetooth for the application to work effectively, to warn early of the risk of contact with infected people, people suspected of being infected with SARS-CoV-2 to help authorities detect and quickly trace those who are likely to be infected.

Vietnam's Official Dispatch 1096/BYT-MT was issued by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam on February 23, 2021.
