Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam issued Decision 996/QD-BVHTTDL on promulgating the List of sports, events and venues for competition in program of the 31st Southeast Asian Games.

Vietnam: Arena of Valor, League of Legends, PUBG, ... will officially compete at SEAGames 31 (Artwork)
Promulgated together with this Decision is a list of 40 sports, events, and venues for the 31st Southeast Asian Games- 31st SEAGames, in 2021 in Vietnam.
Notably, in the list of sports competing at SEAGames 31 in Vietnam, there will be more e-sports, with 08 subjects, including:
- Arena of Valor (Mobile)
- PUBG Mobile
- Free fire (Mobile)
- League of Legends (PC)
- League of Legends: Wild Rift Mobile
- Fifa Online 4 – PC
- Cross Fire (PC)
- Mobile Legends: Bang bang (Mobile).
These subjects will be competed for at the National Convention Center with 10 competitions.
