Supplementing the duties of the Consideration Council for the issuance of train driving licenses (Illustration image)
According to this Circular, point d, Clause 2 and 5, is added to Article 29 of Circular 33/2018/TT-BGTVT of Vietnam regulating the Consideration Council for the issuance of train driving licenses, specifically as follows:
- Supplementing the members of the Consideration Council:
Members of the Consideration Council for the issuance of train driving licenses to the first train drivers on the new urban railway lines put into operation and operation with the technology used for the first time in Vietnam:
In addition, The Chairman of the Council is the leader of the Vietnam Railway Administration or the person authorized by the Director of the Vietnam Railway Administration; The Vice Chairman of the Council is the leader of the enterprise which has the candidates participate and other members of the Council decided by the Director of the Vietnam Railways Administration, and compulsory have project investors (or organizations assigned to manage the urban railway project by the project investor).
- Supplementing the duties, powers and responsibilities of the Consideration Council for the issuance of train driving licenses to the first train drivers on new urban railway lines put into operation and with technology used for the first time in Vietnam as follows:
+ Check, review and evaluate the validity and contents of the application file for a driver's license according to regulations;
+ Make a report about work progress of the Consideration Council according to the form specified in Appendix IIa issued together with Circular 33/2018/TT-BGTVT;
+ Summarize and report on the results of the performance of the Consideration Council in accordance with regulations and propose and recommend the Vietnam Railways Administration to grant or not grant a train driving license according to the form specified in Appendix IIb issued with Circular 33/2018/TT-BGTVT.
Circular 25/2021/TT-BGTVT takes effect from January 15, 2022 in Vietnam.
