According to the Ordinance on preferential treatment given to people with meritorious services to the revolution 2020 of Vietnam, preferential regimes for revolutionary activists before January 01, 1945 include:
- Issue the "Certificate of revolutionary activist before January 01, 1945" according to the Government's regulations.
- Monthly subsidy, monthly allowance.
- Health insurance.
- Annual health rehabilitation nursing.
- Support for house improvement based on each person's merit and circumstances.
- Provide necessary aids, orthopedic tools, means and equipment for rehabilitation as specified by orthopedic and rehabilitation establishments in the labor - invalids and social affairs sector or hospitals. provincial level or higher.
- Exemption or reduction of land use levy when being allocated residential land by the State, changing the land use purpose to residential land, recognizing the right to use residential land, when purchasing houses owned by the State.
- Grant money to buy the People's Daily newspaper; facilitate participation in cultural and spiritual activities.
Above are preferential regimes for revolutionary activists before January 01, 1945, it can be seen that this preferential regime is more than the current regulations, which are only: monthly subsidy, monthly allowance; health insurance; health rehabilitation nursing; provide necessary aids and orthopedic tools; issue People's newspaper; cultural and spiritual activities suitable and supported by the State to improve housing based on merits and circumstances of each person.
Besides, the Ordinance on preferential treatment given to people with meritorious services to the revolution 2020 of Vietnam also stipulates conditions and standards for preferential regimes for revolutionary activists before January 01, 1945, of which the beneficiary must meet one, specifically as follows:
- Joined a revolutionary organization before January 01, 1945;
- Being admitted or re-admitted to the Dong Duong Communist Party before August 19, 1945.
Note: People who were active in the revolution before January 01, 1945 in the above cases are not expelled from the Party to be eligible and qualified.
